Freedom Graphic Systems is a national Direct Mail Company based in Aurora, IL. We offer opportunities for a Lettershop Lead in a solid company that has an excellent record of growth and stability.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Assist supervisor with daily production operation.
  2. Take on supervisor position when needed.
  3. Train new people on safety requirements, assure postal regulations, operation and expectation on the inserter is being met, oversee hourly production, assuring all company rules and policies are being followed.
  4. Lead is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized production floor. Investigate and correct any and all issues with the mail.
  5. Report all production issues and concerns to the shift supervisor.  
  6. Attend white lights. Responsible for all job/lot change over.
  7. Communicate with warehouse and with mechanics regarding daily production issues or concerns.
  8. Must be able to take in new information quickly, multi-task, problem solve, trouble shoot, knowledge of the inserters on the production floor.
  9. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Must be able to walk/standing constantly for 7.5 hours.

Education and/or Experience

  1. High school diploma or equivalent, supervisor experience preferred, but not necessary.  Intermediate computer skills within a Microsoft Windows environment. 
  2. The ability to read and interpret job instructions and having bilingual skills is a plus.
  3. Must also have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all personnel.
