Press Department - Aurora, IL - Full Time

Freedom Graphic Systems, a national Forms Printer/Direct Mail Company based in Aurora, IL is currently looking for Press Maintenance Mechanics to work in our Press Department.


  • Must be knowledgeable in all areas of press and collator equipment (i.e., electrical, mechanical, and preventative maintenance).
  • Must work at a reasonable pace to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Trouble shoots and repairs all production equipment to keep it in the best possible working order.
  • Keeps an inventory on all parts and accessories and replenishes as needed. Communicates essential information regarding incomplete repairs at shift change and any potential problems, etc.
  • Keeps all tools organized (this includes cleaning up after himself and putting unused equipment in its designated area).
  • Possess the proper tool and knows when and where to use that tool. Works overtime when the production schedule dictates.


  • All candidates must be detail orientated and committed to quality.
  • Have the ability to multi-task within a manufacturing environment.
  • Promote a safe, positive, team atmosphere.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and endure standing for long periods of time.
  • Undertake additional tasks as deemed appropriate by management.
  • Must be flexible to all shifts, overtime and weekend work required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent..
